We're still a few weeks -- and, in New York, at least, more than a few degrees -- out from the official start of summer, but contenders for the coveted yearly unofficial title of Song of the Summer are already piling in. Towards the top thus far is Drake's "One Dance," which last week became his first-ever No. 1 on the Billboard Hot 100.
There will, though, undoubtedly be much competition for the Song of the Summer, and it looks like DJ Khaled could be throwing his rolodex in the ring. On Instagram -- and in a very DJ Khaled way -- he suggested that he'll be dropping something soon featuring Aubrey, likely from his upcoming album, Major Key.
Looking back at past Khaled and Drake collabs makes the prospect of a new one seem promising.
There was their first offering, the summer 2011 heater "I'm On One," which also featured Lil Wayne and Rick Ross.
The same cast of characters got back together two years later, with similar results on "No New Friends."
In addition to an unspecific reference to the Drake record, Khaled is also sitting on a collab between Jay Z and Future.
Just drop these already, Khaled. Enough Snaps.
