Selena Gomez kicked off her Revival tour this weekend and, with it, introduced us to five very different outfits. Each of the custom looks — yes, they were all made just for Selena — accompanies one of the show's five distinct acts. Christian Classen, the tour's fashion director, broke down each of the looks and the designers behind them on Instagram.
Here's everythang you need to know.
Act 1: Runway/Masquerade, Part 1
Sel opens the show in a Monse outfit that would make Emma Watson very proud. Yep, underneath the black gown is a sparkly pair of pants.
Act 1: Runway/Masquerade, Part 2
Those pants, in fact, are attached to a bodysuit, which emerges when she ditches the dress.
Act 2: Man & Machine/Technology
The second act's outfit comes courtesy of Karl Lagerfeld (hence the fingerless gloves). It has something to do with technology — how trendy! — but, honestly, I am not entirely sure how. It looks great, though.
Act 3: The Sixth Sense
For the third act, things get more ethereal in a sheer gown from Vionnet.
Act 4: Día de los Muertos
Things get decidedly more gold in the fourth act, with a bodysuit from Jessica Jones and thigh-high boots from Fausto Puglisi. While Selena had previously teased a dramatic Día de los Muertos-inspired beauty look, she kept things simple on stage.
Act 5: Revival/Celebration
Finally, Selena closes the show in a rainbow metallic jumpsuit from Sonia Rykiel. I mean, how else do you end a show, y'know?
