PSA: This Summer Is Your Last Chance To See Motion City Soundtrack

The band is breaking up after nearly 20 years together

Motion City Soundtrack, a longtime favorite from the early ‘00s pop-punk and emo scene, broke a lot of hearts when they announced their breakup in March. See?

There's some good news, though. The band -- frontman Justin Pierre, guitarist Joshua Cain, keyboardist Jesse Johnson, bassist Matt Taylor, and drummer Tony Thaxton -- are going on one last "So Long, Farewell" tour for fans. From now till mid-August, they're playing shows all across the U.S. See a full list of dates and locations here. The band kicked off the tour last Thursday (May 5) in Portland, Oregon.

So here's your final chance, current and former Motion City Soundtrack fans, to get footloose in your velcro shoes while the band plays "The Future Freaks Me Out" live. Don't miss it.
