Ansel Elgort’s Fans Submit Hilarious Entries For His Wiki Replacement Pic

Even though he could just do it himself

Being a celebrity means going to lavish parties, signing lots of autographs, and getting your own uncomfortably detailed Wikipedia page.

But what to do if you don't like the photo Wiki uses? You ask fans on Twitter to change it, of course. On Sunday (May 8), Ansel Elgort admitted he hated his current photo, which was taken by Mingle Media TV's Red Carpet Report team during the Divergent premiere on March 18, 2014.

"Can somebody change my picture on Wikipedia ? It's probably my least favorite photo of myself ever," Elgort tweeted. And lo and behold, the Internet fulfilled Elgort's request — well, sorta.

  • Apparently, they couldn't actually change the pic, as one person pointed out.
  • But that didn't stop fans from creating Internet magic.
  • Works of art were created.
  • Elgort's Snapchats were proudly put on display.
  • And all bets were off.

As of this writing, Elgort's Wikipedia photo is still the same, although one fan is doing her best to make the change happen. Hear Elgort's cries, Wikipedia!
