Kehlani Addresses Her Struggle With Depression On '24/7'

Her first new song since her recent hospitalization

Kehlani has released her first new song since being hospitalized for an apparent suicide attempt in March, and it powerfully shines light on her struggle with depression.

On “24/7,” Kehlani notes that everyone has moments of getting down on themselves. “It’s OK to not be OK,” she sings. “I don’t know nobody who smiles at everybody 24/7."

She also reveals that there are just some nights when she can't imagine getting up the next day: "I had my nights where I'm not anxious to wake up and feel any better." But that line implies that she does get up, and she does, ultimately, feel better.
