Bella Thorne, star of MTV's Scream TV adaptation, is a young and beautiful woman, seemingly with very few personal problems. But just like the rest of the world, she's had her fair share of struggles when it comes to her skin.
In a new interview with InStyle, the 18-year-old actress explains how her issues with acne and Dermatitis became borderline debilitating.
"I cried every night for months," she says. "It sounds silly to say that I cared so much about my face, but when you're a young girl, it takes a toll on your self-esteem. It's unbelievable how people looked at me differently because I had pimples. I'm still self-conscious about it."
Despite her still-present insecurities, she's found a way to move beyond her skin worries.
"You have to take a deep breath, realize that whatever is stressing you out is not the end of the world, and trust that you'll move on."
Trust us, girl -- we get it. Stars: They really are just like us.
