Last year, Ludacris hilariously recalled his 2010 collab with Justin Bieber at the pop star’s Comedy Central Roast, saying, “Together we dropped a track called ‘Baby.’ It’s got over a billion hits on YouTube. That’s because I’m in it. It also has 4 million dislikes. That’s because he’s in it.”
Deep in his heart of hearts, though, Luda knows nothing compares to “Baby” or could ever come between him and JB or could ever come above. So when Bieber’s Purpose tour rolled through the rapper’s hometown of Atlanta on Tuesday night, he hopped onstage for a rare joint performance of the throwback jam.
After the show, Luda shared a pic of him and JB hugging, accompanied by a sweet and supportive message: “Say what you want, dat boy has one of the best albums out right now. Period. #purpose.”
Luda wasn’t the only hip-hop heavyweight in Philips Arena that night: Bieber revealed that ATL natives Usher and 2 Chainz also attended the show. Usher later tweeted at JB, “So proud of you man.” Awwww.
