Coping Skills: Teen Mom 2's Jenelle Reveals How She Deals With Anxiety

On tonight's episode, the young mother's stressful situation with Nathan nearly ruined her birthday weekend.

Jenelle did her very best to enjoy her Big Apple birthday bash during tonight's new episode of Teen Mom 2, but her stress-inducing situation with her former fiancé Nathan put a damper on the out-of-town celebration. The root of the mother of two's anxiety: The assault and battery charges stemming from an alleged altercation with the young father's girlfriend Jessica, the uncertainty surrounding visitation with their son Kaiser and gossip circulating that she is refusing to allow Nathan to spend Christmas with the toddler (without even asking Jenelle about the holiday in the first place).

"I feel like I can't breathe, " she told her group of friends -- including her boyfriend David -- while they were all out at a fancy dinner. "I just feel so uptight; I feel like this room is too small."

David did his best to ease his partner's worries, and ultimately, the guest of honor admitted she was able to relish her weekend away. As viewers have seen through the years, this is not the first time Jenelle has struggled with these types of emotions -- so what type of advice would she give to another person in a similar position?

"You definitely need to go to a doctor and get it checked out," the 24-year-old recently told MTV News in the video above. "And if you don't want to take medication, there are other ways around it and coping with it -- like meditation and yoga and different coping skills you can discuss with a doctor."
