JoJo And Skizzy Mars Launch The Realest Love On New Track ‘Recognize’

Learn how to recognize that real one ❤️

Can you recognize when something real and honest and true is right in front of your eyes? OK... so that’s a loaded question on April Fools’ Day, but it’s also the conflict at the heart of a breezy new collab from Skizzy Mars and JoJo.

The New York rapper and pop comeback queen trade verses about love and trust on “Recognize,” from Skizzy’s upcoming debut album, Alone Together. Backed by hazy synths and sleek guitar licks, JoJo urges, “I hope you recognize a real one when you see one,” while Mars assures her, “you’re the realest.”

Following his buzzy debut EP, 2015’s The Red Balloon Project, Skizzy is gearing up to release Alone Together on April 8. JoJo, meanwhile, is putting the finishing touches on her long-awaited third album; her first in 10 years. She recently tweeted that she’ll be done recording on April 4 and is “so anxious” for fans to hear.
