A Guide To Being Sassy, As Told By Mr. Feeny

Believe in yourselves, dream, try, do good... and be sassy

From 1993 to 2000, Boy Meets World captivated '90s kids with Cory (Ben Savage) and Topanga's (Danielle Fishel) love, Shawn's (Rider Strong) angsty nature, Eric's (Will Friedle) goofiness, and — most importantly — Mr. Feeny's (William Daniels) life lessons.

Today (March 31), Daniels turns 89, and while he's played a lifetime's worth of different characters (John Adams from 1776, anyone?), Mr. Feeny will always hold a special place in our hearts. And while words of wisdom are fine and dandy, sometimes you just really need a sassy comeback in your arsenal.

  • For starters, get yourself a megaphone.

Your sass will sound 100 percent better when you're yelling it at people's faces.

  • And perfect your WTF face.

It's more important than you think.

  • Pointing helps, too.

  • Make your insults sound like compliments.

  • But sometimes, it's good to make your meanings clear.

Remember? You have the megaphone; you can say or do whatever TF you want.

  • Seriously, just get straight to the point when need be.

  • In fact, sass can be a great outlet for anger.

  • If your friend suggests something really stupid, it's perfectly acceptable to let them know it.
    Disney
  • And always keep 'em guessing.
    Disney
  • Use your sass to avoid having to lie to someone.
    Disney
  • And use it to make awkward situations more tolerable.

  • Remember, no one is safe from your sass.

    Even a beloved president.

  • But most importantly, always flaunt your sassy nature through dance.
