#TBT: Will Smith Shows Baby Jaden How To Kiss The Camera For MTV In 2002

This is the father-son throwback clip you need today

Will Smith and his son Jaden have the kind of familial relationship we can trace through their films. They've played father and son in both The Pursuit Of Happyness and After Earth, and Jaden even made a cameo appearance in dad's Men In Black II all the way back in 2002, when he was just four years old.

But nothing comes close to the pure adorableness of the throwback MTV clip above, filmed on the set of Will's "Black Suits Comin' (Nod Ya Head)" music video, his musical contribution to the second MIB movie. When Daddio teaches the little man how to kiss the camera goodbye -- sorry, "peace" -- a new star is born. You can see it in his eyes! Just look at him now.

Here's hoping Jaden makes another cameo at the 2016 MTV Movie Awards to cheer on his pop as he receives the Generation Award. He owes Will that much for teaching him how to be such a natural on camera.

The 2016 MTV Movie Awards will air on Sunday, April 10 at 8 p.m. ET/PT, hosted by Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson and Kevin Hart. See the full list of nominees right here.
