The power of the boy band struck again this weekend, as the concert film "One Direction: This Is Us" topped the charts with an estimated $17 million according to Film.com.

That was just enough to beat out returning hits "Lee Daniels' The Butler" ($14.7 million) and "We're the Millers" ($12.6 million), both of which had extremely strong holds from last weekend. Overall, while there were no major standout hits, the box office still managed to post its highest Labor Day weekend totals in history, with an estimated $124 million over the three day weekend.
