Jennifer Lawrence won an Oscar for "Silver Linings Playbook" and amassed a legion of fans as the star of "The Hunger Games," but that doesn't mean she won't freak out over one of her favorite stars like the rest of us.
J-Law pulled off an awesome "video bomb" ambush at the San Diego Comic-Con press line, dashing toward Jeff Bridges mid-interview. Lawrence was there to promote "X-Men: Days of Future Past" and of course "The Hunger Games: Catching Fire."
Bridges was technically there to talk about last weekend's box-office bomb "R.I.P.D." and forthcoming genre-bait "Seventh Son," which like "The Hunger Games" is based on a series of Young Adult books. But the dude (pun intended) is a legend. So, really, he was mainly at Comic-Con just being rad.
Like most of us, J-Law could barely muster a "Hi!" before just hugging Bridges. There were lots of "sorries," an "I'm, like, your biggest fan" and even an "Oh my God!" bandied about. One enterprising reporter for E!, recognizing the opportunity, just handed the microphone over and suggested Lawrence conduct the rest of the interview. Unsurprisingly, of course, it was mere moments before she worked "The Big Lebowski" into conversation. Check out the video captured by Yahoo! Movies for all of the fangirl fun.
