With San Diego Comic-Con heating up today, be prepared to geek out over your favorite panels, parties, and posters — some reaching truly epic proportions.

Case in point: "Godzilla," the upcoming Warner Bros. and Legendary Pictures remake of the classic Japanese tale. The teammates behind this does-the-world-really-even-need-this reboot are clearly no strangers to the convention, as they have just released a fancy pants new poster to coincide with all of their monstrous events taking place this weekend.

Launched last night via Twitter, the poster has already been making its rounds online, teasing an abstract glimpse at the size and scale of the legendary lizard (look at how wee those helicopters are!), while leaving most of the creature itself to the imagination.

Adding to this, "Godzilla" has a ton of epic Con-ness coming up, including a panel with the film's stars and an interactive experience that transports fans to Tokyo (complete with street signs and a real Ramen Bar).

The "Godzilla" panel, which includes stars Bryan CranstonAaron Taylor-Johnson and Elizabeth Olsen, will take place on Saturday, July 20 at 10:45 a.m. PST in Hall H. Meanwhile, the "Godzilla" Encounter experience will continue through Sunday.

The Gareth Edwards-directed film is slated for a May 16, 2014 release.
