T.J. Miller may be best known as a comedian and as the scene stealing sidekick in movies like "Cloverfield," "Gulliver's Travels" and "Our Idiot Brother," but according to The Hollywood Reporter, that's about to change, as Miller has just signed on to co-star in the upcoming mega blockbuster "Transformers 4."

Are you ready for T.J. Miller: Action hero?

We certainly are. After all, we've been campaigning for quite a while to get Miller his own movie franchise. And while Mark Wahlberg is technically still the lead of "Transformers 4," the latest Michael Bay robot punch-up seems to be the perfect vehicle for Miller to further display the kind of range he's shown off in such classic bits as this look at the 2013 MTV Movie Awards he provided for us recently.

So what exactly is Miller going to be doing in "Transformers 4" besides being all cool and totes making us look like geniuses for hyping him all this time? Well, apparently he'll be playing Wahlberg's best bud and fellow mechanic, which is a pretty good occupation to have in the world of Autobots. In other words, he's basically going to be the human, live action version of Tow Mater from "Cars."

"Transformers 4" is set to hit theaters on June 27, 2014, just a week after Miller's other big sequel, "How to Train Your Dragon 2," arrives. Face it: 2014 is going to be the year of Miller. Finally. And to think, you knew him when. Puts a tear in your eye, doesn't it?
