Bye bye, blue birdy.
Perhaps in response to last week's spotting of Jamie Foxx traipsing around Manhattan in his smurfy Electro makeup on the set of "The Amazing Spider-Man 2," director Mark Webb has now shared a first-glimpse of the Oscar-winner in his non-alter ego form, as Max Dillon.
Webb broke from his production picture-sharing tradition of generally sticking to behind-the-camera-style nerdery to introduce the pic with the caption, "My name is Max."
Now, geek is totally chic, but even Foxx looks less than foxy in this get-up. Those are some rather dated frames Maxwell's got on there, and we don't what the what is growing out of his head. That said, it's pretty much perfect for the down-and-out character whose luck would have it that he gets struck by lightning.
Yeah, that's a shoppable expression for the actually green-with-envy little goblin. Also, we can't wait to hear what James Franco-ism'll come outta this one.
"The Amazing Spider-Man 2" is still in production in New York City and slated to hit theaters on May 2, 2014.
