There's been a lot of talk over the past year about the 99% and the 1% and all that, but if you think fiscal inequality is a new problem, just try telling that to Robin Hood. After all, the guy was stealing from the rich and giving to the poor back when wheels were square.

And now, thanks to Jason Statham, we have the latest version of the classic Robin Hood story, as the new YouTube trailer for "Hummingbird" shows the cinematic badass not just robbing from the rich but also smacking the hell out of them.

Who needs a bow when your fists are registered weapons?

Set to open in Britain on May 17, "Hummingbirds" is still awaiting a U.S. release date. But we have a feeling once fans get a load of this trailer there will be no way to keep "Hummingbird" out of our theaters.

After all, who wouldn't want to see a movie about an ex-Special Forces operative who finds himself homeless and then decides to become an agent of change the only way he knows how — by kicking some righteous butt? Heck, fans have shelled out good money for plenty of Statham films in the past that had barely any plot at all. So a film with an actual message? Count us in.

Plus, as this trailer shows, Statham begins this movie rocking a crazy long-haired wig. How awesome is that? So check it out. And join the 99% of us who want to see "Hummingbird."
