On-Screen Superheroes Find Big-Time Sponsors

batman-nike-220It's no secret that movies drive commerce, especially when it comes to superheroes. Okay, so maybe Jennifer Garner's Elektra wasn't necessarily the gleam of every child's eye upon finding a plastic version of her inside a Happy Meal, but it seems like business and movies have always walked hand in hand.

Let's take it one step farther.

Graphic designer Roberto Vergati Santos has devised a collection of art that truly marries commerce and cinema by asking the question of what it would look like if your favorite big-screen superheroes were sponsored by companies. While the art may be tongue-in-cheek, it feels unusually natural to imagine The Hulk downing an energy drink, The Avengers pushing Coca-Cola, or Superman advertising Louis Vuitton or Armani (although Clark Kent would be the one to push the eyewear, we bet).
