You May Want to Sit Down For the First Photo From 'X-Men: Days of Future Past'

These days, it's nearly impossible to keep a new movie completely under wraps. No matter how hard the studio works to prevent spoilers from coming out (and as Christopher Nolan shows with "The Dark Knight Rises," they try very, very hard) some paparazzi or inside man will end up leaking key details onto the internet. You just can't stop it.

Which may explain Byran Singer's new strategy for "X-Men: Days of Future Past" — simply spoil everything yourself.

Hey, if you can't beat 'em, join 'em.

Not that Singer's latest reveal is all that much of a spoiler. But with filming about to being on the fifth "X-Men" film, Singer has decided to just cut out the middle man and post the first photos from the set himself, via his Twitter feed.

The result? A somewhat less than overwhelming shot of two wheelchairs. Oh boy.

Of course, for superhero obsessives, there's still plenty to parse out about this one. The wheelchair on the left, for example, appears to be the same chair used by Patrick Stewart's Professor X in the first three "X-Men" films. The chair on the right, on the other hand, seems to be a somewhat cruder model, suggesting it will belong to James McAvoy's younger Professor X, who was shot in the back at the end of "X-Men: First Class."

Naturally, we've seen more exciting examples of time travel in films, but hey: When it comes to the world of spoilers, you take what you can get.
