It's a Bird, It's a Plane, It's ... a Leaked Script for 'Superman Lives'

Finally, it's the surfaced script you've been waiting for: "Superman Lives," from Kevin Smith. That's right: the director in the XXL hockey jersey behind iconic films like "Clerks," "Mallrats," and "Dogma," was once given the reins to pen a screenplay about the ultimate American superhero.

Granted, the script [via The Sports Hero] is copyrighted 1997, so there's no official word if "Chasing Amy"'s Joey Lauren Adams was in talks to play Lois Lane, but that's not necessarily something we would have contested. Because, man, how we miss you, JLA.

Also from 1997: the rumored script for the same movie when it was in the hands of Tim Burton and screenwriter Wesley Strick, whose superhero was to come to life in the form of Nicolas Cage.

Man, we miss the '90s.
