"Hansel and Gretel: Witch Hunters" became the fifth Jeremy Renner film in a row to hit the top spot at the box office, as according to Film.com the poorly reviewed action flick earned $19 million over its debut weekend.

That was enough to hold off returning champ "Mama," which finished in second place, as well as dead on arrival duds "Parker" and "Movie 43," which debuted in fifth and seventh place respectively.

For a full run down of the weekend's box office figures, including numbers for award season favorites "Silver Linings Playbook" and "Zero Dark Thirty," head to Film.com.
