Jennifer Lawrence Thinks Acting is Stupid, Ya'll

We make no secret about the fact that we majorly heart Jennifer Lawrence around here because, as her also awesome "The Hunger Games" co-star Woody Harrelson once put it, "She'll say anything."

So, with Oscar season looming ever nearer and J.Law's name on the tippy-top of most predictions lists courtesy of her "Silver Linings Playbook" super-acting, it really was high time she whipped out another Jennifer Lawrence-ism.

(Oh, yes. That's a thing. See here for proof.)

Enter her Feb. 2013 cover story interview with Vanity Fair.

In this latest chapter of Jennifer Lawrence Is Realer Than You, she openly declared that her line of work "is stupid" and that is why she's not up her own booty right about now, despite starring in two successful franchises and having a second round of awards season recognition on the way at just 22.

"Not to sound rude," she said, "but [acting] is stupid ... Everybody's like, 'How can you remain with a level head?' And I'm like, 'Why would I ever get cocky? I'm not saving anybody's life. There are doctors who save lives and firemen who run into burning buildings. I'm making movies. It's stupid.'"

Acting does not a hero make ... a fair assessment, we'd say. As an aside, we definitely just got a visual of J.Law in a fireman hat. Girl crush!

Important note: In the same interview, she also claimed to be "vastly uneducated" and habitually "slaughtered" on the red carpet by all the gazelles in her industry to ensure this is most certainly not a Joaquin Phoenix Thinks Everything is Total Bulls--t situation.
