Video Q&A: John Krasinski on Being the Next Ben Affleck

John Krasinski, who is best known to the world as Jim on NBC's "The Office," is ready to be something more: Ben Affleck.

Just kidding. Sort of.

But Krasinski is the new bro-in-arms, co-collaborator to Matt Damon, who previously wrote and starred in "Good Will Hunting" with childhood friend Affleck. Krasinski and Damon met when Krasinski's wife, Emily Blunt, starred with Damon in "The Adjustment Bureau." The two men hit it off, and then decided to write and star in a movie, "Promised Land," together.

"I think all of us secretly have 'Good Will Hunting' tattoos on our backs," Krasinski told NextMovie of writing with Damon. "So to actually be able to write with him took a little getting used to."

He called "Good Will Hunting" one of his "favorite movies ever," and said that he's now been spoiled by the process of working with Damon and another "Hunting" alum, director Gus Van Sant.

However much he may joke, though, Krasinski stressed that he and Damon won't be sharing a bank account anytime soon.

"I'm pretty secure in the fact that I'll never be Ben," he said.
