When it comes to big screen tough guys, there are two kinds of actors: The ones who are just acting and the ones who could legitimately kick your ass in real life. Mark Wahlberg is most definitely among the latter. So is Russell Crowe.

And the new trailer for "Broken City" shows the two of them going head to head.

Someone call 911, because sh*t just got real, y'all.

Here's the scoop: Wahlberg plays an ex-cop who was drummed out of the force when he mistakenly killed a kid.  So when he gets called in by the major of New York (Crowe) to do a little private eye work, it seems like his big break, especially since the job is just tracking down who is sleeping with the mayor's wife (Catherine Zeta Jones).

Naturally, there's more to everything than there seems, so when the bodies start hitting the floor, Wahlberg and Crowe take off the gloves for a showdown you won't want to miss.

"Broken City" hits theaters on Jan. 18, but you can see the new trailer right now, courtesy of indieWire:
