The quest to lose one's virginity is as old as time, which is probably why there are so many movies about it. The latest flick to feature teens trying to give away their v-cards is aptly titled, "The First Time," and made its premiere at the Sundance Film Festival earlier this year.

Now that we've got our first look at its trailer—which seems to be coming out a little late considering the movie hits theaters October 19—we've gotta admit this might be one of the rare romantic comedies that captures both the angst of high-school and the thrill of… you know.

Directed by Jon Kasdan, "The First Time" follows two confused teens, Dave (Dylan O'Brien) and Aubrey (Britt Robertson) as they both try to bed other (lame) love interests, only, it's obvious from the start that these two belong together. Or at least, should sleep together. The trailer features predictable scenes like boy meets girl, boy busy chases other obviously-wrong-for-him-girl and boy falling out of girl's window on the second story of her parents' house-- but there's still something kinda sweet about the whole thing. But don't take our word for it. Check it out for yourself, courtesy of Cinema Blend, because maybe there really is a first time for everything… including a movie about teens trying to lose their virginity that has a little heart thrown in as well.
