Drew Barrymore Welcomes Baby Olive to the Brood

Drew Barrymore and Will Kopelman are now officially parents!

The 37-year-old Hollywood starlet and her hubby of just a few months welcomed their daughter Olive Barrymore Kopelman into the world on Wednesday, People confirms.

The couple issued a statement on the happy news, saying, "We are proud to announce the birth of our daughter, Olive Barrymore Kopelman, born Sept. 26th, healthy, happy and welcomed by the whole family. Thank you for respecting our privacy during this most special time in our lives."

Barrymore and Kopelman were married on June 2 in a private ceremony at her Montecito, Ca. estate. Wedding planner Stefanie Cove orchestrated their nuptials. Coincidentally, Cove also handled Reese Witherspoon's wedding to Jim Toth, and their son, Tennessee James, was born just a day after Barrymore's.

Kopelman is Barrymore's third husband (she previously married bar owner Jeremy Thomas in 1994 and comedian Tom Green in 2001), and little Olive is the couple's first child.

Barrymore, like Witherspoon, has kept relatively quiet about her pregnancy, but she did tell Haute Living in their September issue, "I can't wait until I have my children ... I just want to build fun, great things for my family." She previously hinted that she and Kopelman may attempt for more than one baby, having told Jay Leno on "The Tonight Show" in February, "We'll start with one ... See how it goes and if we could be so blessed ... that would be wonderful."

Congrats to the growing family!
