"Resident Evil: Retribution" delivered a double-barreled shotgun blast to the box office charts this weekend, as Film.com is reporting that the fifth entry in Milla Jovovich's sci-fi franchise took the top spot with an estimated $21.1 million.
That was more than double the amount "The Possession" earned last weekend. And "Resident Evil: Retribution" wasn't alone in breaking out of the September doldrums, as Pixar's animated re-release "Finding Nemo 3D" came in second with a healthy $17.5 million.
