Lea Michele has some big shoes to fill in her latest project — and those shoes just happen to be ruby slippers.
That's right, it's the new trailer for the upcoming animated film "Dorothy of Oz," which finds the "Glee" star doing her best to live up to the legacy of Judy Garland, one song at a time.
Based on the book of the same name by Roger Stanton Baum, great-grandson of original "Wizard of Oz" creator Frank L. Baum, "Dorothy of Oz" tells the tale of Dorothy Gale's return to Oz to help save her friends from the dastardly machinations of a creep named The Jester.
Patrick Stewart, Oliver Platt, Martin Short, Dan Aykroyd and Kelsey Grammer also pitch in voicework, but, with Michele belting out tunes, there's no question whose talent is going to make or break the film.
