In the sea of summer action flicks, a smaller, sweeter film is standing out. Well, its trailer is, anyway.

Though "Cheerful Weather for the Wedding" had a run at the Tribeca Film Festival earlier this year and managed to secure distribution from IFC Films, no U.S. release date has been set, but we're already jonesing to save the date, because this British drama features the good taste of "Downton Abbey" with the perfect dash of edgy humor.

Oh, and there are some pretty awesome stars in it as well.

Featuring "Like Crazy"'s Felicity Jones and "Attack the Block"'s Luke Treadaway, the story follows a young couple during a summer of love, and then flashes forward to present day where the young woman is getting married… to someone else. Things get sticky when her former flame shows up, as they tend to do. Also, an actress you may have heard of, Oscar-nominee Elizabeth McGovern (yes, of "Downton" fame), gets thrown in there as the bride's well intentioned mother, who's just trying to prevent the worst from happening.

There are some small explosions (literally) and the bride does spend a heap of time barfing in the toilet, but otherwise it seems that this wedding might actually work out. But don't take our word for it, check out the trailer, courtesy of The Film Stage, and see if you think this union will make it past the altar.
