Gary Ross' movie version of Suzanne Collins' book, "The Hunger Games," has made the dystopic future nation of Panem a place fans want to revisit again and again, and they'll get their chance when the Blu-ray is airdropped into stores on Aug. 18.

Katniss Everdeen (Jennifer Lawrence) has the courage to come out on top in a battle royale where only one of 24 so-called "Tributes" survive, but can she do it with her soul intact?

This flick is obviously one of our favs of the year, and we offer up these four clips as tribute to its awesomeness.

1. You might think Katniss is a crack shot, until you realize she was aiming for Wes Bentley.

2. Cinna (Lenny Kravitz) wants to fabulize this tribute. Make it work!

3. All those episodes of "Sesame Street" pay off for Peeta (Josh Hutcherson), who learns to just be himself.

4. Liam Hemsworth forgives Jennifer Lawrence for the time she accidentally called him "Chris."
