We scour the interwebs for the coolest movie news and more so you don't have to ...
San Diego has been transformed into a giant toy chest sporting 30-foot Power Rangers statues, priceless "Star Trek" Enterprise replicas and moving holographic "Hobbit" posters. Check out Moviefone's gallery that depicts a geek's idea of Santa's workshop.
"Call… me… Wanderer." You didn't have to be present in Hall H on Thursday for the unveiling of the first footage from Stephenie Meyer's "The Host" to win a bag full of Comic-Con swag. Just tweet the phrase mentioned in this post for your chance to claim the goods as your own.
Speaking of first footage, Neill Blomkamp treated Hall H attendees to an exclusive highlight reel from "Elysium," his upcoming follow-up to "District 9" starring Matt Damon, Jodie Foster and, of course, Sharlto Copley. Film.com was blown away by what promises to be another game-changing sci-fi flick from the filmmaker.
Who would win in a fight: Jessica Biel or Colin Farrell? You probably already know the answer, but BuzzSugar posed the question to their "Total Recall" star, Kate Beckinsale, who has a fight scene with both of them in the upcoming sci-fi remake.
Christopher Mintz-Plasse, who was at Comic-Con to promote his new animated film, "ParaNorman," was inevitably asked about "Kick-Ass 2." He told ScreenRant that he's excited to be "a complete villain" in the sequel and revealed that one rather controversial scene from the graphic novel won't be making it into the movie.
As wonderful as Comic-Con is, it comes with a big ol' side of headache, too. Instead of whining about it, Hollywood.com put those grumbles to good use: as fuel for a bar tab with some San Diego-themed beverages. You don't have to be in southern California to imbibe.
