A hookah-smoking caterpillar has given Britt Robertson the call to join an indie drama.
The "Scream 4" beauty is set to feed her head as she'll play with the men on the chessboard of "White Rabbit," according to Deadline.
"White Rabbit" centers on a bullied high school teen (Nick Krause of "The Descendants") whose nightmares begin to affect his waking life. Robertson will be playing his girlfriend, with Sam Trammell of "True Blood" set to play his father.
Britt Robertson recently wrapped her recurring role as Cassie Blake on the now-canceled CW drama, "The Secret Circle." She recently scowled her way through the dysfunctional family drama, "The Family Tree," and screamed with the best of them as Marnie Cooper in Wes Craven's "Scream 4."
Robertson also recently earned a lot of buzz for her turn in the high school romance, "The First Time," which made a splash at Sundance earlier this year. The film, which was picked up by Sony Pictures Classics, is still without a U.S. release date.
"White Rabbit" will commence with production in New Orleans later this month under the direction of Tim McCann.
