Life is imitating art today, as the "Last Song" (incredibly young) co-stars Miley Cyrus and Liam Hemsworth have found their happy Hollywood ending: the pop singer and "The Hunger Games" star are getting married.
"I'm so happy to be engaged and look forward to a life of happiness with Liam," Cyrus told People.
Cryus, who is 19, met Hemsworth, 22, back in 2009 when the two were filming the romantic drama. The two hit it off and have been dating ever since.
In the meantime, of course, Hemsworth has risen from a virtual unknown to become one of Hollywood's hottest young stars; besides co-starring as Gale in this spring's mega-blockbuster "The Hunger Games," he is slated to appear in the upcoming action sequel "Expendables 2" and is currently filming the thriller "Empire State."
Cyrus, meanwhile, recently starred in the acclaimed indie drama "LOL" and is working on a new album.
The two reportedly were engaged on May 31st, when Hemsworth popped the question via the presentation of a 3.5 carat diamond ring, which in layman's terms is a gem big enough to choke a horse.
No word yet on when the ceremony will take place.
