Mila Kunis has conquered the drama, comedy and action genres. It's only natural that her next gig sends her into the sci-fi realm, and she's aiming high with her next project: the lead role in the Wachowski Brothers' "Jupiter Ascending."
Andy and Lana Wachowski, the brains behind the "Matrix" trilogy, have reportedly been eyeing Kunis for top billing for sometime, and yesterday at CinemaCon she confirmed to MTV with a resounding "Yes!"
"That's the most I've told anybody," she said.
According to earlier reports from Deadline, "Jupiter Ascending" may be the Wachowskis' next attempt at a science fiction franchise, long awaited since "'The Matrix: Revolutions" was released in 2003. Plot details have yet to be revealed as the script is an original from the filmmaking duo.
Channing Tatum continues his movie headlining streak as he has been offered to co-star in "Ascending" with Kunis. Shooting begins soon and the film will hit theaters in 2014.
