'Hunger Games' Tops Records With $155 Million Opening Weekend

The box office figures are in and "The Hunger Games" is officially one of the biggest films of all time as Hollywood.com is reporting that it earned an incredible $155 million over the wekend.

That's not only the third biggest opening in movie history, behind only "Harry Potter and the Death Hallows Part 2" and "The Dark Knight," it's also the biggest opening ever for a non-sequel, the biggest non-holiday weekend opening and the biggest March debut. Not to mention it's more than any of the "Twilight" films earned during their opening weekends. Sorry, Bella!
