Zach Galifianakis, Whoopi Goldberg, Selena Gomez, Emily Blunt, John Krasinski, Manny from "Modern Family" … With cameos from these folks and more, plus stars Jason Segel and Amy Adams, "The Muppets" had star power to spare.
But it was a little felt fella named Walter who may have made the biggest impression in the holiday hit.
Or at the very least, proved the most impressive whistler.
With "Muppets" hitting DVD and Blu-ray, we asked the man-or-muppet about hitting it big.

How has starring in a hit movie changed your life?
Changed my life!? It’s made me who I am today. Gosh, before this movie, it was like I didn’t exist … and now I'm right there with my all-time hero, Kermit, and all of the Muppets. But other than the fact that I now live in Hollywood and spend an awful lot of time running errands for Miss Piggy, I'm still the same old Walter I always was.
Now that you're a movie star you've gotta date another movie star, right? Who's your Hollywood crush?
I met Selena Gomez during the shoot … and fainted. And, of course, I adore Amy Adams, but whenever I talked to her … I fainted. I'll let you know when I don't faint, then maybe I'll get to go out on a date.
What's Jason Segel like in real life? Besides tall.
He’s pretty wide, too. Plus, he was very, very, very funny! Kind of like Fozzie Bear, only with less fur and fewer rubber chickens. Plus, Jason is not only a wonderful actor, but he even co-wrote the script to "The Muppets," which I think is so cool. Too bad nobody looked at it before we shot the movie.

Give us some dirt on Kermit. He can't always be as cool and calm as he seems.
Kermit is perfect. He's cool, calm, generous and even greener in person. There is no dirt on Kermit, although if he's been in the swamp, there is sometimes some mud.
How's it feel to appear in an OSCAR-winning movie?
It's amazing! Not only is it my first movie, but I got to sing the Oscar-Winning song "Man or Muppet"! That's like spooky cool. I'm so glad that Bret McKenzie from "Flight of the Conchords" won the Oscar, and I hope that someday he's able to get the statue back from Miss Piggy.
What does everybody back in Smalltown make of your success?
They love it. Now when they want to come to Hollywood on vacation, they all stay at my place. It sure gets crowded when the whole town comes at once.
So, are you a man or a Muppet?
You have to see the movie and hear the song to know the answer to that.

What's the secret to a good whistle?
Lauren Bacall said it best in "To Have & Have Not": "You know how to whistle, don't you? You just put your lips together and … blow."
Where do you see the Muppets going from here?
Lunch. We're starved. Plus, maybe another movie.
Has Jack Black been let go yet?
Omigosh! Omigosh! Omigosh! Omigosh! I forgot to untie him! Jack is going to be so mad. Bye!
