Michael Bay is currently working on the fourth (yes, fourth) installment of the blockbuster "Transformers" franchise, but it doesn't seem like anyone else is.
According to Mr. Fergie Josh Duhamel, none of the original cast seems to be gearing up to partake in this go-round: "I don't think anybody's doing it. I know Shia [LaBoeuf]'s not doing it. I don't think Tyrese or Rosie [Huntington-Whiteley] or anybody else is doing it."
Guess that means him too.
Though Duhamel's participation is looking unlikely, the star isn't surprised a fourth flick is in the works, E! Online reports.
"Whenever these movies make that much money they're going to make as many as they can," he said. "[But] I haven't heard anything about it. They haven't called me." (Something about Duhamel waiting for a call makes us smile… even though it doesn't sound like's sitting around waiting for his cell to ring.)
Recently, one of the "Transformers" producers, Lorenzo Di Bonaventura (seriously, how great a name is that?) said that the creative team plans to reboot the series with a new storyline, though Optimus and Bumblebee would likely be a part of it. Regardless of who makes the casting cuts, the flick is expected to fly into theaters June 2014, which means Mr. Bay and the powers-that-be better start making some calls.
