'Requiem For a (Puppet) Dream'

Puppets have a long and proud history in the world of entertainment, but the brand new puppet-show version of the classic Darren Aronofsky anti-drug film "Requiem for a Dream?"

Well, let's just say you won't be seeing this one on "Sesame Street" any time soon. Because these puppets are definitely brought to you by the letter H.

"Requiem for a Dream," for those of you who may have intentionally blocked it out after being scarred for life, tells the story of four interconnected people who each become addicted to one thing or another and end up helplessly watching as their lives go right into the dumper. But would the message have been quite so grimly affecting if it had been delivered by a bunch of cuddly hand puppets?
