Although Jessica Chastain continues her reign as the hardest working lady in showbiz, it looks like even she has to rest at some point or another.

News broke in November that she was attached to "Caught in Flight," a film about the last two years of Princess Diana's life, but now it's official that Naomi Watts will be donning that crown later this year.

Is it possible that Chastain was simply too busy to take on the role? It was announced just yesterday that she plans to do a double feature with Joel Edgerton called "The Disappearance of Eleanor Rigby" after wrapping Kathryn Bigelow's bin Laden drama.

On the other hand, Watts does seem like a more natural fit, especially age-wise. Watts, who was born in England but spent some of her teen years in the land down under, certainly bears a striking resemblance to the late Princess. Watts also shares some of the late princess' interest in charity work; she's a UNAIDS Goodwill Ambassador and also made a PSA with Valerie Plame (whom she portrayed onscreen in "Fair Game") asking the government to ditch their funding for nukes.

The official description of the movie doesn't mention Di's affair with Dr. Hasnat Khan, which was initially supposed to be the heart of the story. Instead, "it charts how finding true personal happiness for the first time allowed her to achieve her defining successes evolving into a major international campaigner and humanitarian."

Hmmm… which side of Di do you think we'll get to see on the big screen?
