Despite having enough coin in his vault to make Scrooge McDuck jealous, billionaire geek George Lucas apparently saw "Avatar" and couldn't stand the idea that there was an extra dimension of income going untapped. Hence the release of "Star Wars Episode I: The Phantom Menace 3-D," a post-converted marvel of the modern age.

For '80s-bred high schoolers who grew up on the original trilogy, "Phantom Menace" was the most anticipated movie of the '90s. Now that many of those teens have little Jedis of their own, it's high time they took their tots to theaters on a trip down the road of semi-recent nostalgia.
