After checking into a rehab facility for "exhaustion" Tuesday afternoon (following an incident in which she was rushed to the hospital on Monday night), Demi Moore has dropped out of the Linda Lovelace biopic "Lovelace." The 49-year-old stunner  joined the cast only a few weeks ago, and was slated to play a supporting role as women's rights activist Gloria Steinem, who took a very public stance against pornography, Entertainment Weekly reports.

Though official word from Moore's camp claims the actress is seeking professional help for exhaustion, she is rumored to have a substance abuse problem. Paramedics responded to a 911 call at 10:45pm on Monday night and rushed to Moore's LA home, assessing her condition for a full thirty minutes before transferring her to a nearby hospital. Sounds like more than exhaustion to us, but hey—what do we know?

According to a statement from her publicist, "Because of the stresses in her life right now, Demi has chosen to seek professional assistance to treat her exhaustion and improve her overall health. She looks forward to getting well and is grateful for the support of her family and friends."

Whatever the cause, it must be serious, because Moore is definitely missing out. This Rob Epstein and Jerry Friedman-directed biopic, already has garnered tons of buzz, even though it only started shooting in December. Hopefully the actress—who has appeared rail thin and tense since Ashton Kutcher's… uh… indiscretions surfaced last September—will get back to 100%, and back to work, soon.
