Are "Billy Elliot" and the girl from "Thirteen" old enough to get married?
Indeed they are, according to Us Weekly.
Jamie Bell, now 25, recently proposed to Evan Rachel Wood, 24, after being seen shopping for engagement rings in late December.
This is actually Chapter Two of the couple's relationship — they dated for a year or so back in 2005 (they're pictured here at the "King Kong" premiere) and got back together last summer. Wood was previously engaged to shock rocker Marilyn Manson but called it off in 2010.
And for those who ever doubted the matchmaker powers of alt-rock group Green Day, take heed: Bell and Wood first met in 2005 on the set of the music video for "Wake Me Up When September Ends," the fourth single from their "American Idiot" album. Must've been all that hugging and kissing and romantic existential pondering they did.
Bell will next be seen with Sam Worthington and Elizabeth Banks in "Man on a Ledge," opening Jan. 27, and Wood is rumored to be attached to "Life of the Party," a comedy about a group of friends that try to break the world record for the longest house party ever held (427 days, by the way). Meanwhile, witness the birth of love with the Green Day video below.
