Tyler Perry has achieved the perfect "awwwww"-inducing trifecta in the trailer for his new movie, "Good Deeds": Nerd who learns to cut loose, down on her luck single mom and adorable child with strategically missing tooth.

In the movie, Perry stars as Wesley Deeds III, an Ivy League educated businessman who has always conformed to what society has demanded of him. In his case, society seems to have demanded a lot of suits slightly rumpled by long hours at the office, driving nice cars, and having sensible breakfasts prepared for him by his lovely wife, played by Gabrielle Union.

"BUT WHAT ABOUT HIS SOUL?" you ask. What, indeed. It seems like ol' Wes could use a kick in those carefully pleated pants to help him bust out of the awesome, super-rich rut he's found himself in. And, as luck would have it, Thandie Newton is a mess! A mess who works in his office building! And she has a kid! And the kid's sassy and sometimes has to sleep in a closet and teaches everybody the true meaning of Christmas what it means to live a fulfilling life.

Did we mention the trailer includes a sweet cover of Des'ree's "You Gotta Be" and a whole lot of Phylicia Rashad face time? You're welcome.
