Michelle Monaghan is on a freak out hell bus headed straight for Sin City.
The "Source Code" beauty will soon be investigating the darker side of Las Vegas -- and herself -- as she signs on to star in "Fast Flash to Bang Time," according to Variety.
"Fast Flash to Bang Time" follows two troubled FBI agents as they search for a killer and a kidnapped infant, all while struggling to hide addictions that could end their careers. Monaghan will play a sex-addicted agent -- her partner, a crack addict, has yet to be cast.
Hey, they don't call it "Sin City" for nothin', you know. Even the shrimp buffet could be described as "troubled" in that town.
The crime thriller will be written and directed by W. Peter Illiff, a screenwriter who recently made his directorial debut with "Rites of Passage," a drama starring Wes Bentley that's currently in post production. Illiff also happens to be the writer of "Point Break," "Patriot Games" and one of the most underrated films of all time, "Varsity Blues."
Michelle Monaghan previously searched for a missing child in Ben Affleck's "Gone Baby Gone" and had some "Bang" time with Robert Downey Jr. in "Kiss Kiss Bang Bang." She appeared earlier this year in "Machine Gun Preacher" and will soon begin production on "Better Living Through Chemistry," co-starring Olivia Wilde and Sam Rockwell.
