We wouldn't mind hitting the road with a trio such as this one.
Dax Shepard, Bradley Cooper and Kristen Bell are putting it into third gear and chasing after the comedic thriller, "Outrun," according to Deadline.
"Outrun" tells the tale of an ex-getaway driver (Shepard) who breaks the rules of the Witness Protection Program as he drives his girlfriend (Bell) to L.A. so she can land her dream job. Their road trip becomes complicated when he ends up being pursued by both the cops and his former gang of criminals (led by Cooper).
The film was written by Shepard, who co-directed with David Palmer. And talk about life (and filmmaking) in the fast lane -- "Outrun" has actually already wrapped principal photography and is currently looking for a domestic distributor at the American Film Market.
We're wondering how Bradley Cooper managed to fit this one into his schedule -- the man is currently attached to no less than three high-profile projects, including "The Place Beyond the Pines," "The Silver Linings Playbook" and "Paradise Lost." He's also been recently announced as a top contender for "The Man From U.N.C.L.E."
Meanwhile, Dax Shepard's real-life lady, Kristen Bell, has a lot of projects with 2012 release dates, including "Big Miracle" (Feb. 3), "Movie 43" (April 13), "Flatland 2: Sphereland" (May 1) and "Dance of the Mirlitons" (Nov. 15).
Stay tuned for word on a U.S. release date for "Outrun" -- we're sure it's just down the road, coming up fast.
