All year long, the folks behind the upcoming comedy "The Muppets" have been putting out parody trailers lampooning everything from "The Green Lantern" to "Pirates of the Caribbean" to "The Hangover Part II." But there's one franchise that has managed to escape this blanket mockery: "Twilight."
Until now, that is.
The final "Muppets" parody trailer has just arrived and, with less than a month to go, Jason Segel, Kermit the Frog and all the rest are throwing everything but the kitchen sink into the mix, including quick lampoons of "Puss in Boots," "Paranormal Activity' and, yes, even "The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn."
Okay, so Twihards aren't necessarily known for their sense of humor when it comes to people making fun of their beloved Team Edward and company. But considering this is, you know, "The Muppets" and everything, we think even the stoutest Taylor Lautner enthusiast will have to crack a smile at this newest clip. (Seriously, "The Twilight Saga: Breaking Prawn?!" That's funny).
After all, it's not as if "The Muppets" ever does anything mean spiritedly. In fact, they even manage to parody the most unlikely movie of all in this trailer: "The Muppets" itself.
So take a look at the new trailer, courtesy of Moviefone, and get ready, because this Thanksgiving, Muppet is back on the menu:
