Years ago, Woody Harrelson proved that white men can jump, and now he's going to prove that they can rob banks pretty well too.

After scoring some serious goodwill for his off-the-chains performances in movies like "The Messenger," "Zombieland," and the recent Toronto Film Festival hit "Rampart," the one-time TV bartender is on a bit of a hot-streak, and what better way to capitalize on it than by playing a bank-robbing magician?

According to Movieweb, Harrelson has joined the cast of Summit Entertainment's "Now You See Me" for Frenchie director Louis Leterrier ("The Incredible Hulk" and "Clash of the Titans").

He'll play a famous hypnotist named Merrit Osbourne who joins an elite gang of stage illusionists and tricksters called the Four Horsemen who pull bank heists during their performances, giving the loot away to their audiences.

Cannabis-connoisseur  Harrelson will re-team with his zombie killing buddy Jesse Eisenberg in the picture, which also features "Inglourious Basterds" star Mélanie Laurent, Isla Fisher, frequent movie narrator Morgan Freeman, and Mark Ruffalo.

Harrelson can next be seen in the trippy action flick "Bunraku" which opens today, and next year he'll help Katniss and Peeta win "The Hunger Games" as Haymitch Abernathy, most likely through use of Earth-friendly hemp rope.
