The new "The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn - Part 1" trailer broke yesterday, and hoo boy, it's kinda steaming up our monitors. They get married, they dance, and yeah, they bring down the house with their sweet vampy lovin'. Then Bella immediately gets knocked up!
So, what do fans have to say about the matter? No one has busted out with any hysterical YouTube reactions, but so far Twi-Hards are pleased. More or less, anyway.
The folks at Twilight Lexicon were totally amped, with reactions ranging from thrilled to, uh, thrilled. "It was amazing! I got teary eyed and my heart was racing the whole time! This is my favorite book, so seeing it come to life is exciting. November 18th cannot get here soon enough!"
One Twilighter Anonymous got positively poetic about what went down in the trailer, writing, "Can't wait and then our patience will be handsomely rewarded when we go into the theater and become enraptured from the second it starts playing...will have to find a way to see it again on the same day just so I can fully appreciate it...like savoring a fine wine...know what I mean?" A fine wine, people. A fine wine!
Fans were also tweeting it up, naturally. The mysterious D. dropped some Vonnegut-style excitement, writing, "EVERYTHING IS BREAKING DAWN AND NOTHING HURTS."
Another fan with all-caps-level enthusiasm, @theMwagon, writes, "THEY DID SUCH A GOOD JOB WITH BELLA'S SICK MAKE-UP."
And while most reactions were positively effusive, Bianca (aka @bitemesoon -- guess we know which side she's on!) had some harsh words for Peter Facinelli. "Just saw the german [sic] trailer of breaking dawn. And I must say i HATE your new voice :( @peterfacinelli first your hair and now the voice..."
OUCH! Seems like Bianca's not alone in the hair department. Michaela Pattinson©™ (please note the copyright and trademark signs) tweeted, "If I could only change a thing about Breaking Dawn would be Carlise [sic] and Edward's hair!!!!!" Damn, y'all!
Meanwhile, Katie Wignall wrote, "Just got goosebumps watching the twilight breaking dawn trailer. does this make me a bad person???" Nope, you're in good company.
