It looks like Cobra is going to be caught between a Rock and a... ninja?

Hot on the heels of news that none other than Dwayne Johnson is in talks to join "G.I. Joe: Cobra Strikes" comes word that French actress Elodie Yung is in the running for a role as well, according to Heat Vision.

Did we say "running?" More like "kicking," as Yung would be playing the role of Jinx, the Joes' heroic lady ninja.

Ms. Yung needs no audition for this role, as she's already showed off some pretty impressive martial arts prowess as the deadly Tao in "District 13: Ultimatum" (pictured). The scene where she lays waste to her enemies with a little help from a knife in her ponytail is one of the film's most showstopping set pieces.

All kicking aside, Yung will soon be showing off her bedroom techniques as well in the role of Miriam Wu, Lisbeth Salander's friend, confidante and occasional lover, in David Fincher's "The Girl With the Dragon Tattoo," opening Dec. 21.

Expect plenty of more "G.I. Joe" casting announcements in the coming weeks. In the meantime, Dwayne Johnson and Elodie Yung are a good start in inspiring us to exclaim "Yo Joe!" with enthusiasm once more.
