Oliver Stone has reunited the stars of "Pulp Fiction" for another piece of pulp fiction.
John Travolta and Uma Thurman, who won a trophy at Jack Rabbit Slim's for their impromptu dance number in Quentin Tarantino's now-classic film, have joined the cast of Oliver Stone's "Savages," according to Deadline.
Travolta will play the role of Dennis, a burned-out DEA agent, and Thurman will be taking on the role of Paqu, the mother of O, the kidnapped shared girlfriend of two marijuana growers.
Blake Lively has also officially been cast as O, following recent news that she was Stone's first choice for the role after Jennifer Lawrence was unable to take the part due to being cast in "The Hunger Games."
Travolta, Thurman and Lively join Taylor Kitsch and Aaron Johnson, who will play Chon and Ben, the two pot growers who run afoul of a drug cartel; Benicio Del Toro, who plays the vicious cartel enforcer, Lado; and Salma Hayek, who plays the cartel matriarch, Elena.
Oliver Stone has conjured himself quite an impressive ensemble for this adaptation of Don Winslow's novel -- and there are still a few more roles to cast before production begins in July.
(P.S. John Travolta and Uma Thurman also had a dance scene together in "Be Cool," but it wasn't nearly as cool as the one in "Pulp Fiction.")
